After many years of wanting to do a car show in Elgin, the Downtown Neighborhood Association finally took the plunge and organized the 2007 Downtown Elgin Car & AFV Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 in the Civic Parking Lot at the corner of Douglas and Highland
