The concept of insurance is not a complex one. Since the better word is inappropriate, let's just say that stuff happens. And not knowing when it will, or to whom, Texas drivers have been required by law to prepare for the costs since 1951, and since 1981 we have been required to carry proof of our "financial responsibility." Next year, that will be easily verifiable by any law enforcement
