No-fault insurance may hit the road

Lawmakers are likely to let the requirement for personal-injury protection expire Oct. 1. Florida's decades-old personal-injury protection law will likely cease to exist after Oct.1. With lawmakers caught up in property-tax debate, the no-fault insurance requirement looks as if it will fade into Florida history.
